It's amazing that so many locals have never observed the diversity of wildlife that exists in their backyard. Out of sight, out of mind. Lots of local commercial divers and fishermen ask me, "do you dive for crays, abs, scallops, etc.?". The answer is no. I dive to teach others how to dive, to educate the population on their local wildlife, and to conserve these delicate ecosystems that are worth protecting.
